The resort allows guests to run wild. Children sitting at the swim up bars instead of playing in the beautiful children’s area . Parents wanting to sit at the swim up bar bringing their kids in tow. So very wrong. Of greater concern were those that sat their without ever having to take a bathroom break. The resort clearly needs some work on this. This resort is loud so you will be hard pressed to find a quiet spot. It’s as though this resort was trying to be upper echelon but failed because of the guests. In one scenario they have two hot tubs side by side at a bar but you could never use it because guests used this for their little kids to play in . The jets and heat were turned off to facilitate this . I felt the resort was so afraid to adhere to their own rules for fear of losing them as return clients. Also, unless you are in a club room, which we couldn’t get due to late booking, your fridge is filled once . So, if after you've finished drinking the 3 beer and 2 cokes, you have to pay 3.00 each for more. They do provide water. The food on New Years Eve was very nice, the Buffett the rest of our stay was lacklustre. It had your typical fare, burgers, pasta, salads, plenty of pork dishes. We spent three weeks here mind you so it could be slightly repetitive. The Olive Branch restaurant was nice but our Moussaka was unrecognizable . The plates looked fancy but the quality was questionable. The restaurant Di Mario serves only pizza and calzones, so to call it an Italian restaurant was stretching it slightly. Although, the pizza was rather tasty none the less. There is no room service so if you are feeling peckish you can get a “sandwich” at the coffee shop but not until after 11:00 pm and the sandwich was dry and pointless. The resort is dated but pretty and the beach was amazing , snorkelling right from the beach was fantastic. The staff, they really tried. We tipped each staff member that served us throughout our stay as they deserved that.
